Glossary / Angel Investor
An angel investor is an individual who provides financial backing to early-stage startups or entrepreneurs in exchange for equity ownership in the company. Angel investors typically invest their own personal funds and often have experience in the industry or sector in which they are investing. They can provide not only capital but also mentorship, guidance, and industry connections to help the startup succeed. Angel investors are usually involved in the early stages of a company's development and may invest in multiple startups to diversify their investment portfolio.
